About this ebook

He may be her greatest rival—her sworn enemy—but when they face a hidden danger neither could survive alone, he'll soon become her partner...and fiercest protector.

Bounty hunter Molly Pax fought hard for everything she has, turning the struggling family business into an unqualified success. She doesn't need complications in her life—especially not John freaking Carmondy. Six feet of pure trouble, with a cocky grin to match, John's the most cheerfully, annoyingly gorgeous frenemy Molly's ever had the pleasure of facing...and he may be her only hope of making it past these dangerous grounds alive.

John's been over the moon for Molly for years, but she's always seemed untouchable. Unreachable. Now she's looking to him for help, and he'll be damned if he lets her and her sisters down. Teaming up against nearly impossible odds, they'll fight to make it through this alive...even if it means learning to trust in a connection that burns brighter than either has ever known.

Get out your trusty handcuffs: This pulse-pounding romantic suspense contains sizzling enemies-to-lovers attraction, long-time pining, explosions and explosive chemistry between two rival bounty hunters, and a family bond that'll have you coming back for more.

This is the first book in Katie Ruggle's Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunter series.

Her mother jumps bail, her childhood home has been put up for collateral and every two-bit criminal in the Rockies now sees her family’s misfortune as their next big break. Molly needs help, stat in this refreshingly different and wild ride of a thrilling romance. Molly and John are two strong, vivid characters that seem to rub each other the wrong way but really have some uber powerful chemistry that has sparks flying in every direction. Molly is a strong, take charge character that is quite clueless when it comes to recognizing why John is around every time she turns around which makes this growing relationship a delight to read. The dialogue throughout the story includes snark and sass which adds some chuckles to the entertainment. The story is fast paced and full of exhilarating action and thrilling suspense as Molly and John go after a dangerous skip that has bombs exploding and surprising twists taking everyone by surprise. Readers can’t help but enjoy the family dynamic between Molly and her sisters and the fact that they are female bounty hunters adds to the intrigue of this story while the relationship between Molly and John charms and delights readers while ensuring that they want to know every last detail of this wild ride.

Molly Pax and her four sisters run a bounty hunting business. Molly's arch enemy is Jon Carmondy, a fellow bounty hunter and all round pain in her ass. He pops up everywhere she goes, being charming and twinkling his eyes at her while stealing her bountys. But when Molly's ne'er do well mother gets arrested for grand larceny and puts up the house that Molly and her sisters paid for Molly is faced with an unpalatable proposition, lose the house to a slimy bail-bondsman or agree to capture a psychotic killer who likes to play with explosives. This was reminiscent of all the good things about Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series without the love triangle and irritating granny humour, okay it's about a female bounty hunter. I liked this, it was fast-paced, didn't take itself too seriously, Molly and her sisters got into bounty hunting simply because after a life of watching their mother being arrested and jailed for various minor offenses they knew the system very well. My only criticism is that no-one was really developed as a character, it's all action and no back-story, especially John who is just there to add romance and muscle, but it was a great read by the pool.

This is a great action packed romantic suspense that kicks off an intriguing new series featuring female bounty hunters. Molly Pax and her sisters have been working hard to make a success of their bail recovery business. All that hard work is threatened when their criminal mother finds herself in trouble again. When the mother uses the family home as collateral for a bond then skips town Molly and her sisters risk losing everything unless they can track her down. Molly knows she can't handle this on her own so she grudgingly accepts the help of rival hunter John Carmondy. That's when things really get interesting! I love these two together. There is fun, sass, action and oh yeah a nice romance all weaved together making a very interesting story. I recommend this book to everyone.
