About this ebook

Johanna Palmer is very much over relationships. After a scarring experience her freshman year of college, she’s decided she would much rather have something fun than something serious.

Her best friend Miller has seen it all—the tears, the parties, the drunken phone calls at four in the morning when she needed a ride. In fact, there might be several things Miller saw that Jo herself can’t remember.

Things Miller can’t forget.

With the whirlwind of senior year underway, Jo just wants to move on, get her degree, and land her dream job. But her past might not be as easy to outrun as she’d hoped.

The Anti-Relationship Year is a companion to The Anti-Virginity Pact, but both books can be read as standalones.

It was a fun read and to tell the truth I was terrified reading the first Freshman Year chapters because Joe was acting worse than she did in book one. But once the story goes on, I started to connect with her and I teared up when that part of the book came, poor thing has gone through a lot. There are 3 things that annoyed me alittle bit. 1. The Freshman year vs the Senior Year timelines weren't necessary, I believe the book could have been stronger if it followed the normal chronological order of events, this could have shown the growth in her character better, at least in my opinion. 2. Miller was too perfect, it made me sad men like him don't exist 😅. 3. We were never told why Joe was intimidating to her younger colleagues eventhough she was so nice with Gracie, or maybe I didn't pay attention because I read the whole thing in one day 🤷‍♀️🤭.
