About this ebook

Nathaniel and I thought we were alone in this, until the day our enemy walked through the door, showing us the impossible things he could do. Borden Stewart was the last person we ever thought we could trust—I certainly don’t, but Nathaniel has forgiven and forgotten.

As a new semester at Alderidge University starts, the stakes are higher than ever. There are ramifications to Borden leaving the Society Boys. Now all of us—our work—are targets. And how am I ever supposed to focus on school, when the call to bring back magic grows more intense by the day? Alderidge is part of my family legacy, but I’m realizing my future is leading me elsewhere.

Our mastery is expanding—fire starting, telekinesis, even alchemy. And then we unleashed the ability to test if any book or person has magical abilities.

Now, everything is about to change.

I am totally enthralled by this new series and direction that Keary is taking. I'm so excited to follow Margot and Nathaniel on their journey to resurrect magic! This, the second installment continues on with Borden being inducted into their little group and gaining their trust. We follow Bordens troubles as the Society Boys make his life hell as he breaks from them. The group continue scouring libraries for new books of magic and do come across a few, and theres a huge discovery that will literally have you gasping at the end. I can't wait for the next installment.

About the author

Keary Taylor is the USA TODAY bestselling author of over thirty titles, encompassing paranormal, sci-fi, and contemporary romance. She grew up along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains where, from a young age, she started creating imaginary worlds and daring characters who always fell in love. She now splits her time between a tiny island in the Pacific Northwest and a beautiful valley in Utah, with her husband and their two children. She continues to have an overactive imagination that frequently keeps her up at night.

Keary is known for take-charge female characters, well-crafted plots that keep you flipping through page after page, and keeps it PG-13, so her books are friendly for most readers. Take a dive into her worlds, filled with vampires, angels, space wizards, and always swoon-inducing romance.
