Places become characters in a way. As a reader, I like to get to know my
setting as much as I do my characters. Having lived in both New York
City and Chicago, I tried to bring these two giants into the story and
help my readers make friends with them as they journey with Tristan and
Raina.
I found the erotic scenes in part 3 more challenging to write. As the intensity of the relationship grows between the hero and heroine, their sexual relationship becomes so much more complex and meaningful--just as it would with real people.
