Ratings and reviews

Sometime when reading a short story, you sometimes get less of a full story or it feels rushed, that wasn't the case with this book. For a short story, it was well written and had strong character development. Deidra and Logan’s chemistry and passion ignited the pages and kept you entertained and grabbed your attention. I hope Keke Renée is planning another book planned for this series, cause it's a really good series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4.5 Stars of an Absolutely Wonderful Read Have you ever read a book and wished for more? Well that’s definitely not a problem with this book. Deidra and Logan’s chemistry and passion really ignited your emotions and keeps you throughly enthralled with their story. I hope there’s another book planned for this series. I liked the dynamic and competition between the two leads, Logan and Deidra. There was a prior book that sort of explains what's going on with them by the time this story happens, but it doesn't detract from catching up quickly them. They both are entertainment lawyers in a big firm that Logan's father owns and operates. They're both up for partner but have had a side friends with "limited" benefits going on. Logan used to be a player but really only wants Deidra now; and Deidra has had a one-track mind focused on her career. They get serious anyway and I think Deidra wigs out a bit. Too many willing women hanging about and a slightly possessive streak she didn't know she had. Logan was fairly possessive as well. Things took a somewhat predictable turn at work, but it still worked out for the best. Things also took an unpredictable turn personally, but it worked out for the best there as well.
