This book had a lot of potential. I read the first one in the series (I didn't like)just so I could get to this one. The story line really captured my attention. However this book was constant heartache until literally the last 2 pages. I don't mind the heartache through some of the book or even most of the book, but it is extremely frustrating to look forward to a happy ending that only took up 2 pages of a rather dismal book. I was annoyed with the heroin and hero a little over half way through the book.
