The Kane Brothers are back with the fourth book in this series and y'all aren't ready for this one! Kelly Gendron pulled out all the stops with this book and kept me hooked for every single moment.

Packed with steam, heart, suspense, and twists... Nix and Payton took me on an unexpected, thrilling, unputdownable journey and promise to surprise you in soooo many moments, steal your heart in sooooo many others, keep you heated up in between all the questions, and just like the others, have you hanging on to the edge of the judge until the VERY last word.

Man that was a good one and I don't want to spoil this. Not what I was thinking and dang Kelly got me good. Unforgettable. Unstoppable. I simply couldn't get enough.

I loved all the books in this series, well let me rephrase this, I loved all the Kane Brothers. But Nix.... man oh man, Nix! I don't even know where to begin! I will say if you love supsense with a dash or steam, then trust me this book/man is the one for you! I highly recommend reading the other books in the series so you can see what I'm talking about! Unexpected. Nix’s story surprised me. He is an amazing single dad to Becca. Their interactions are fabulous and his family is a wonderful support to them. When he meets Payton at his brother’s garage, he finds himself shocked by the attraction. After Lexi left him and Becca 5 years ago, finding a relationship was the last thing he wanted. Now, getting Payton to agree to a date, well, even that is a challenge. Now, how Payton and Nix’s journey unfolds, well, I was surprised at the underlying mystery that is revealed. This added a great dimension to both characters along with their sexy connection.

Tons of chemistry and promises of steam in this well-written romance. There are many improbable happenings, but the storyline is entertaining and engaging with loss, and spy-like activity. The main characters are defined, and there are many very good secondary characters. A little girl steals the show at times. I liked it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I just knew I was gonna love Nix's story I had read and really enjoyed the previous Kane brother's books but I have to admit this is my favorite from the series. You cannot help but love Nix he is such a sweetheart with his daughter he is a good guy and a fantastic dad. I liked the chemistry between him and Payton they were hot together I would recommend this series to all.
