About this ebook

They may have more in common than they ever imagined…

Olivia Hollingsworth is shocked when she’s passed over for VP at Hollingsworth Publishing in favor of her do-nothing cousin. She’s worked harder than anyone and decides to take her talent elsewhere—restoring the failing home improvement magazine that her grandmother loved and her father is axing. Olivia heads to Montana with a plan and a tight timeline...until she comes face-to-face with a sexy as sin cowboy who just might out-stubborn her.

Kit Granger’s family has lived on the same Marietta cattle ranch for generations. But his father ran their business into the ground, leaving Kit to sell off parcels of land to slowly rebuild his family legacy. For years he’s had an agreement to graze his herd on Hollingsworth property in exchange for caretaking duties. And then the eldest Hollingsworth arrives. Her first demand? Corral his cows.

Kit’s not about to let a beautiful heiress derail everything he’s worked toward without a fight. Can they reach a compromise so that they both win without falling in love first?

Olivia and Kit’s story in To Wrangle a Rancher by Kelsey McKnight, book one in her Hollingsworth Sister series, was a wonderful, sweet, enjoyable tale. After getting passed over for VP at Hollingsworth Publishing in favor of her do-nothing cousin, Olivia Hollingsworth needs to figure out a new plan for herself. She decided to take her talents elsewhere, restoring the failing home improvement magazine that her grandmother loved and her father is axing. Olivia, along with her sisters for support, heads to Marietta, Montana with a plan and a tight timeline to document the restoration of the beautiful house left to them by their grandmother. With all her i’s dotted and t’s crossed along with a bullet point plan, Olivia is already visioning the finished project when she encounters a calf on her porch. Returning the calf to its owner has her coming face-to-face with the gorgeous cowboy who just might be as stubborn as she is; if not more. Kit Granger’s family has lived on the same Marietta cattle ranch, next to the Hollingsworth farm, for generation. After his father ran their business into major debt, Kit was forced to sell of parcels of the land in order to start rebuilding his family legacy. For years he’s had an agreement to graze his herd on Hollingsworth property in exchange for caretaking duties. His first meeting with Olivia set the stage for a stand-off after she demanded he corral his cows. Kit is not going to let some beautiful heiress ruin everything he’s worked for without a fight. It’s going to take some work and time together before they can find a compromise in order for them both to win without falling in love first. It might take more than a calf named Dog, a Bachelor Auction, and picnics surrounded by beautiful vistas. Ms. McKnight wrote a wonderful filled with sizzling chemistry, magnetism, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters giving Olivia and Kit a chance at loving each other. I highly recommend To Wrangle a Rancher to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I received a complimentary of this book Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing. Oh my I just LOVED this! Olivia Hollingsworth escapes to Marietta, Montana when she is overlooked for a promotion within the family’s empire. Her worthless male cousin (who comes to work late, goes on two hours lunches and goes home early) gets it instead just because he is a male!!!!! She believes that if she can restore her late grandmother’s (Virginia Hollingsworth) house in Montana, it just may save one of the failing magazines with the family’s business and her star will shine bright again. Kit Granger is the neighbor to the Hollingsworth place. He also acts as the caretaker by looking after the house several times a year. Virginia gave him access to the grounds for his cattle as she knew and cared for him and his parents. He is trying desperately to restore his ranch that his father almost lost. He has had to sell of cattle and some land to get rid of some of the old debt. These two are completely different in almost every way. How can they overcome the hurdles that they face? They live in completely two different states. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this tale. There were some great scenes. I really loved the single male auction to raise money to help restore the children’s section of the town’s library. I loved the dual POV format that the story is written in. It really helped me to connect with the characters. A HUGE plus was that it was written in my favorite Marietta, Montana setting!!! We got to see Olivia’s twin younger sisters. I look forward to reading their stories as well. This is a very sexy story. The author didn’t go into great detail though. That being said, I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18.

I am always happy and content to return to Marietta, Montana when a new book hits my kindle. This time it could not have happened at any better time than in the middle of a snowstorm in North Texas. I was lucky enough to have electricity but we kept on only the bare minimum but know heat at 69 and charged our reading and iPhones. LOL So this book was one of 10 I read last week. Marietta kept me warm and toasty as we rode out the storm. Olivia is so upset when she is passed over for a promotion at her family's company that she packs up her things and takes off for the family home which is in Marietta, Montana. It was owned by her grandma and it was left to her and her sisters when her grandma passed on. None of the girls have been inside the home since they were younger and they actually hire a caretaker to take care of the home and the land around it. Olivia decided NOW is the time to restore the home while using the photos to show her father she can also restore a magazine that was failing too. Once she lands in Marietta she finds out the caretaker is not an old cowboy but a hunk of a man who she might just remember from visiting in her younger days. Kit Granger lives the next ranch over and not only takes care of his land but also hers as well. Cows graze both freely with an understanding from her grandmother. There is some time between these two as they get to know each other and then as Olivia gets to know her true self as well. Marietta has such a wonderful way of bringing everyone home even if you are thousands of miles away in a freezing snowstorm.
