This Hot Jocks Series is getting better and better and as always Kendall Ryan has given us a book that will entertain and not be forgotten, it has characters you will love and the witty banter flows so naturally throughout but this book also a serious side because Becca needs to get her confidence back and move forward with a man she can trust and that happens to be her best friends brother and NHL player Owen. Owen is a player by trade and player by life he never normally spends more than one night with a girl so when a drunken Becca asks him to help her he is really not sure he is the man for the job but Becca is determined and she eventually wears him down and that’s when the fun and games really begin..... This is a friends to lovers romance and it has the perfect mix of passion and humour add in the Hockey angle and this book will appeal to multiple genres. It’s not only banter this couple share the chemistry is intense and I was captivated from the first page to the last line. A book I read in one sitting which happened to be the middle of the night should give you a clue as to how good I think this book is so please don’t hesitate one click this entertaining read now. Looking forward to the next in this great series.

A beautiful story of two characters whose support makes them even stronger individuals without changing who they are. "We didn't change. We accepted each other...flaws ,bruises, bumps, and all." Owen never thought of himself as boyfriend material before he agreed to help Becca overcome and move forward from her attack years ago. With his help and support she was able to take back what was taken from her. She was able to be the strong person she always was and move on. Owen and Becca both accepted who the other was and built their relationship on a strong foundation. They started as friends and turned into so much more. Becca also made Owen realize the good he had inside of himself that he never thought existed. He melted your heart with how he took care of Becca. How he made her feel with being intimate again was a beautiful thing. The patience, understanding. love and affection he showed her. He didn't want to screw it up so he actually bought books on the subject so he would do it right. You just want to hug him and make him yours. Yes he was a player but once he started his relationship with Becca he became a new man. One that was there all along but needed the right woman to bring him out.

OMG, Kendall has done it again. Every book of hers that I read, I fall in love more and more with her work and this was no exception. I read this book in one sitting while I was supposed to be working, lol. Don’t tell my boss, lol. Owen and Becca were a great couple. They were perfect for each other. The attraction between them was off the charts. Owen doesn’t do relationships and Becca had suffered a traumatic experience while she was in school so a relationship was the last thing on their mind. Becca has decided that she needed help to get over her past and she asks Owen for help. At first he balks but when he sees her talking to someone else, the alpha man that he is, didn’t like it. This story was wonderfully written. The characters were so good. You feel like you are sitting right there with them and experiencing everything they are. It was a great ride to see them break down the huge walls they have each built around their hearts. This is one book that I will 1000% recommend to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, emotional and smexy read. In all honesty, I would love to have someone like Owen in my life. He is creeping his way to the top of my favorite book boyfriends list. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
