**I read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** Kendall Ryan has delivered a captivating and sexy standalone in the "Misdaventures" series! Piper Daniels is looking to start over. After a tough break-up, she's ready to begin a new job in a brand new city, but to say her social life is still lacking is an understatement. With her family back at home, she relies on calls with her sister to stay connected to them. Her sister realizes that instead of getting out to experience her new city, she's sitting at home alone. To help her out, Piper's sister sets up a blind date for her though a dating app hoping this will help her sister acclimate faster. Jackson Dane is a successful businessman and CEO who is certainly not lacking in the hotness department. He's focused on a new merger that is on the horizon and there isn't much else on his mind with the exception of finding a woman who is willing to go to bed with him. He's been in a bit of a drought and he turns to setting up a blind date to take care of his needs. When Piper and Jackson meet the evening turns steamy very quickly. The two end up exactly where Jackson hopes and while it isn't something Piper generally does, she certainly isn't sorry it happened. Well, until the next morning when she shows up at her new job and she discovers that Jackson is her boss. Will these two be able to work together or is it all going to end badly because of one night that they both don't regret? This is one of my favorite "Misadventures" books. I enjoyed how the relationship between Piper and Jackson morphed over the course of the book. There was definite growth and it was wonderful to see how both characters made strides both individually and as a couple. I highly recommend picking this one up!

This is a fun read! Enjoyable characters, though I felt like the author could have delved into their experiences a little more to help the reader connect on a sympathetic level. But none the less very enjoyable. Minimal typos. Dual pov. Hea. Medium heat. Looking forward to reading more in this collection!

So much fun! Piper has changed cities for a fresh start after getting her heart crushed. Her sister knows she is sitting in her apartment so she sets up a dating profile for her and makes a date with Jackson. Jackson is a sexy CEO who is driven and demanding, losing assistants right and left. He needs a release so hooking up with Fantasy Girl 29 is just what the doctor ordered. There sexual encounter is combustible and sexy but Fantasy Girl leaves. Then Monday comes and they are both surprised. Piper is an organizational genius that Jackson desperately needs so how can these two work together with all their sexual chemistry? What a fun ride to experience their chemistry in and out of the office.
