I'm so disappointed and upset. because I love Kendall Ryan so much. I have a number of her books and have never been disappointed. for me Kendall is one of those authors who I just don't bother getting a sample of her book first I just buy because I just love her. for me the name Kendall Ryan is like a trusted brand I get because I believe in it. but this book was a nightmare I couldn't even finish it. firstly the editing is horrendous. second the subject matter friend and best friend's little sister has been done to death but it works most of the time but in this case there was a disconnect it felt forced. lastly the BDSM subject I felt was not researched properly. is he a real dom and is she a real sub because for me that was questionable. anyway the only consolation is that the book was free.

This book is sooo good and wow is it steamy! Macey and Reece have always been in love. But her older brother is his best friend. Years go by and Macey returns to Chicago and Reece is happy for it, but he is so very different from the young man Macey remembers. This is a fast paced, short romance, filled with details, it feels like a long read! It's loaded with details, and narrative and romance is perfect! I absolutely love Kendall Ryan!!
