I thought that this was an amazing book. I've read the entire series and loved it. I cried when Shade killed himself for his son. I will always have a piece of Shade in my heart. I feel sorry for Marina. What's ironic is that in silverwing they thought Ariels mate died, then here Marinas mate actually... Died. If only they split his life into three. I guess the point was that not all endings are completely good but they can be happy.

What I didn't like is that Griffin dies but strangely shade leaves some of his fur and griffin and Luna breathe it and they come back to life it makes no sense
