I don't remember exactly everything that happens, but I certainly remember feeling that empty sensation once I finished it (I read it in middle school lawl). :D I'm certainly going to buy it so that I can read it again; 100% recommend.

Loved this book! I couldn't image such a prequel to a cult classic. Kenneth Oppel's take on Victor's teen years creates the perfect back story for what's to come! Can't wait for book three!
