I thoroughly enjoyed all the series books except this one. There is absolutely no doubt that i LOVE this series (its my fav for now) BUT i felt this book was a little rushed like it was in a hurry to finish. & Rachel and Trent's relationship took such a quick turn (from enemies to lovers) that theres an awkwardness to their interactions & they both are kind of unrecognizable. Its like this last book is fanmade from a Rachel and Trent shipper

What an ending! All the books in this series are the kind you don't put down until the last page. Fast paced with action, colorful description of everything that brings the scene to life and character development to the point you feel invited into their actual lives. And the series finale had me on the edge of my seat, laughing out loud, gasping with delight, bawling in shock and loss, and totally fulfilled by the last page. Thank you, MsHarrisin for creating the wonderful Hollows world.

This incredible series is by far my favorite- EVER! As novel 13, it does an excellent job wrapping things up. Thankfully after a break Ms. Harrison continued these and I am patiently waiting on part 16! It's due out June 14, 2022 and I can't wait!

Kim Harrison is best known as the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Hollows series, but she has written more than urban fantasy and has published more than two dozen books, spanning the gamut from young adult, accelerated-science thriller, and several anthologies and has scripted two original graphic novels set in the Hollows universe. She has also published traditional fantasy under the name Dawn Cook. Kim is currently working on a new Hollows book between other, nonrelated, urban fantasy projects.
