(You know I can't tell you when) This is really, really a good book. I think this series going to be Dynamite, book one is explosive. Definitely a Must-Read.      Molly Ravary is human, who wants to be a Vetinarian. She works at a Vet Hospital, hoping someday she can save enough money to pay for her schooling to get her D.V.M. Molly has a Heart of Gold but boy cross one of her friends or her and you won't know what hit you. She didn't know why but for some reason she could sense him the shadow in the alley. Living in Shadow Springs, Kentucky she never realize some people that were around her we're different. Then her Shadow showed her his wolf, at first it was a shock but then she realized she had to stand up for them.       Liam Manning is a Wolf Shifter who lives underground in caverns in the Mammoth Forest by Shadow Springs. Liam is above ground to get some supplies when he runs into an Angel. He seemed to be drawn to her she seemed to be drawn to him. Why was this? Neither one of them knew but they knew when one was in trouble why is that? All Liam knew is he had to be around her, he had a problem he couldn't stay above ground for a long length of time because the Alpha of the Chief Pack (who liked to control minds) was after him. Could he resist if they got too close to him?     

This was a really good story, I will be glad to read more of the set.This is a stand alone book, but it makes you want to read more about the people in the story. Thank you to the publishers who finally see its ok to start and finish a short book instead of frustrating the readers. I for one will gladly want to buy the next book in the set to see how the story continues. If the rest of the books are anywhere as good is one I will be a follower of Kimber White for a long time.

Not your usual Fated Mates story. It is an emotional, intriguing shifter story. Molly works for a vet with poor judgment in men. Her first meeting with Liam is as he steps in when she is protecting her friend and boss from her abusive boyfriend. Both feel something but try to ignore it. Liam is not free to wander the town. He's not free to friend Molly or more. He and a small group have escaped the power--yes I said power--of the Chief Alpha. His control of the pack is complete and mind controlling as well. A few strong wolves and humans have escaped his hold and work to free other and maintain their own lives. It is dangerous but the break was the only way for one of the strong wolves. (You have to read to find out why--no spoilers) There are towns people who assist the escapees at their own risk. The complete domination wraps around human and shifter alike. The author weaves the story in a way to capture the reader. (maybe that's why she can write about mind domination-huh?) She builds the sexual tensions with much more than physical passion even though that is strong and ever present. I was drawn by the family bond of blood and friendship alike between all of the characters. This is the beginning of a series although it is stand alone, I will not miss any of these books.  As a civil lawyer, I spent many, many years writing complex legal briefs for unappreciative bosses. To keep from stabbing myself (or them) in the eye with a fork during all of that, I also started writing down the stories in my head.
