4.5⭐ I love reading anthologies as they are a great way to find new authors and DANGER AND DESIRE in particular ticked all my boxes as the stories are from a genre I love: romantic suspense; and I truly had a great time reading the seven stories included in this eARC which were: *The Rookie by Kimberly Kincaid *Night Owl by Rachel Grant *Desire in D.C. by Cat Johnson *Levi by Maryann Jordan *The Guardian by Cristin Harber *Scout by Jamie Crouch *Lawson and Jill by Caitlyn O'Leary And with varying amounts of romance and suspense not to mention a vast array of settings from the wilds of Alaska to the north side of Chicago to the nation's capital in the seventies there was something genuinely intriguing and enjoyable in each one. This is a great collection of books that I just loved. It has stories by some of my favorite authors brought together for a great price. Of all the books, my favorites were Night Owl by Rachel Grant and Levi by Maryann Jordan. They were great stories that kept me hooked until the very last page of each of them. Levi continues the Lighthouse Security series. We met Levi in the prior book Tate, but didn't know his story, so I loved being able to learn more about him and read his story. This is a stand alone series, and if you haven't read the prior books, you'll find yourself quickly one-clicking the rest of the series. Night Owl continues the Evidence series and is a quickly moving story that kept me turning pages just as quickly as possible. If you're new to the series, you'll want to read more by this author. Put this one on the top of your TBR list, you'll be glad you did.
