Snowfall and Secrets is a sweet romance. I can certainly understand Tess wanting to put distance between her overbearing mother and herself. She needed time to make an extremely important decision without meddling and pressure from her family. Lukas is a tortured soul and my heart broke for him. Tess and Lukas deserve happiness and it was sweet watching their romance unfold. This is a well-written book that held my attention from beginning to end. I love the descriptions of Mackinac Island and the simple way of life for those who live there. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
