Once again, I jumped into the series in a random order but I don't think it caused any problems. There were no great spoilers that I caught onto. I found the book and it's characters to be a lot of fun and fairly quirky. I really enjoyed the idea of a paranormal museum and it was described so well that I found myself wishing I could visit it. A few scenes had me laughing so hard I had an asthma attack, tears pouring down my cheeks. With a creative flair and quick wit, I was reeled in and now I'm hooked. I'm definitely going to read more of this series and I may even start back at book 1. Thank you to Midnight Ink, Kirsten Weiss, and NetGalley for the chance to read such a wonderful book and share my honest thoughts and opinions with others.

About the author

I write laugh-out-loud, page-turning mysteries for people who want to escape with real, complex, and flawed but likable characters. If there’s magic in the story, it must work consistently within the world’s rules and be based in history or the reality of current magical practices.

I’m best known for my cozy mystery and witch mystery novels, though I’ve written some steampunk mystery as well. So if you like funny, action-packed mysteries with complicated heroines, just turn the page…
