This is the second book in the series. This is Lissa's story. We got to know her in the previous book where she wasn't too nice, but we realized the truth with the help of Faith and Kate. I was eager for this one because it's a single mom romance, but I will be honest I wish her little girl Livvy was in it more. This was a great second romance. Lissa's new assignment puts her in long lost love's orbit. Trevor is in for a shock when the one who got away pops back into his life.

About the author

Carly Phillips, whose real name is Karen Drogin, was born on July 7, 1965 in New York. She received an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She eventually became a lawyer, but never really enjoyed practicing law. After having her first child, she decided she wanted to write a romance novel. Seven years later, she sold her first book, Brazen, to Harlequin Temptation.
