About this eBook

A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world?

Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.

While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.

When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.

But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together in Kiss the Girl?

Tara Sivec has been on TBR for a while so when I was offered this book, I decided to jump in. I struggled with this book. Not because I had a hard time suspending my ideas of the Disney princesses and accepting that this version is profanity laden and a little raunchy but because Ariel had like zero qualities of nice person at all. During the first chapter I was like I don't think I like her. By the third, I really didn't like her an didn't think I ever would. The best part of this book is Eric. He's romantic and he does everything he can to empower Ariel. I think I would have has a better appreciation of this book if I had read the first two books of this series first. I probably wouldn't have been all that surprised by Ariel's brash personality and also maybe, seeing her through her friends' eyes, would have been able to see some positive qualities. I'm on the fence of whether I'll read the other books in this series but this was a pretty interesting take on a fairy tale that we all know so well. *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

This twist on the popular fairytale is a lighthearted and amusing read. The sarcasm goes a bit over the top for me and the story is a bit cheesy overall, but amusing nonetheless. While the author has created an absolutely swoon-worthy character in Eric, I did have trouble warming up to Ariel. I'm usually a big fan of sassy, speak your mind women in romance, but Ariel was often contrary just for the sake of being contrary. She does eventually show a somewhat softer side, and in the end, I could see her getting her prince, but my feelings about her played a big part in my middle of road rating of the book. The story is fast-paced and an interesting take on princesses and their Prince Charming's, but this one ended up being just okay for me.

Kiss the Girl is a charming, hilarious, sweet and steamy romance. This third book in the Naughty Princess Club series had me laughing out loud, crying, and swooning over kind, thoughtful and sexy Eric. Ariel is losing everything including her home and possibly the business she started with her best friends. She has lost her confidence after a terrible marriage, and is struggling to survive. It has made her into a surly, sassy, man-hater. With the help of her friends and attentive, flirty, Eric, Ariel begins to find her footing and fight for what she wants. I loved so much about this romance. From the witty banter, awkward situations, and quirky friends to the heartfelt, hilarious and emotional story, it completely captivated my heart. This is a definite must read!
