The book starts out right in the middle of oprahs life and just jumps around.There are two main points really oprah saying her family is a bunch of liars and rapists and her family saying oprah is lying for hype.The book was a jumbled mess that was hard to grasp. I would have liked it more but there was one big question of" did oprah lie or did she tell the truth.

I was hesitant to read this book since the reviews are so bad but it is perfect : it doesn't make her look bad it doesn't make her look good it just shoves all the facts out there naked for the world to see and judge for themselves. I didn't like her or any better or any worse of course she's not angel she can't be to get where she is somewhere there is a skeleton or five and so what? If anything it inspired me to know that no matter what you're going through or where you come from you can achieve
