About the author
Klaus Mann (18. November 1906; † 21. Mai 1949) ist einer der wichtigsten Autoren der deutschsprachigen Exilliteratur. Der älteste Sohn von Thomas Mann gilt als literarischer Kämpfer gegen den Nationalsozialismus und emigrierte nach Frankreich sowie letztendlich in die USA. Die Neuentdeckung seines Werkes fand erst posthum statt.
