Kompheak was born with no legs. His father, who was ashamed of the child’s deformity, ordered that the baby be sent down the river. Veteran author, editor and publisher, Catherine Khoo is the founder and director of Janus Education, Singapore’s first boutique publisher of imprints for under-18s, by under-18s.
