About this ebook

New intrigues, adventures, and stunning revelations fill the penultimate installment of #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole’s electrifying Arcana Chronicles.

In a world teetering on the edge . . .

When Evie receives life-changing—and possibly game-changing—news, she has trouble believing it. Why doesn’t she feel any different? Is it possible someone she trusts might be lying?

With enemies at every turn . . .

Tensions seethe inside the castle of lost time as Evie starts to doubt her own sanity. Answers can be found outside their stronghold, but will Death help her find them—or prevent her from learning the truth about her future and Jack’s possible survival?

Darkness beckons.

A mysterious, sinister power begins to affect the Arcana in its path. Forced out into the wasteland alone, Evie must depend on unexpected allies. But as a battle with Richter looms, can her new alliance defeat the Dark Calling before hell reigns on earth?

I am in love with this series. It has fighting, deceiving and love. people have complained about this books strained love triangle, but I love it, because Evie has stayed true to herself and her equal love. I hope she stays with both at the end. I also feel like Jack is the Minor of swords that granny told her to watch out for. But then again this is only my second theory as I thought that was Paul and Jack was lord uncanny. (GUESS I FAILED THERE) At the end, I love this and I can't wait to read the next book. I'm at the edge of my seat!!!!! 100/10 would seriously recommend. ps. RIP Finn....Baby boy didn't deserve that.

After the last instalment, I was unsure if I was going to continue the series. This book had most of the anticipated action, and was a highly addicting read. My only complaint is, the author created two amazing male leads and the lead (woman) character rarely fends for productively and richochets too much between needy with short spurts of bada**sery. I don't think this endless triagle would be as obnoxious if her character was more self-reliant. I hate to say it, but other than Richter and Zara, Evie has become one of my least favorite characters. That being said, this book made me like Aric when I was hellbent on not liking him. I think that says a lot for the plot and the author. Also, the twists, I didn't see coming. Overall, it was a great weekend read.

Spoiler** I need to have a moment... ok Aric I'm still a little annoyed at you for not listening to Evie when she told u about Paul. But Evie you evil poision princess i hate you for not making up your mind like just choose and choose Aric and not Jack fgs! What's soo go about him anyway ok he is alright but annoying as hell and not perfect for you like Aric bless Aric he's in pain forever waiting for you to choose him like Evie you tried you kill him like god knows how many times. Choose Aric he loves you and cherishes you and for real have been Waiting for you for eternity.TEAM ARIC!
