About this ebook

Indy Savage is a former wild child (okay, maybe not-so-former) and current used bookstore owner. Lee Nightingale is a former bad boy (also maybe not-so-former) and now runs a private investigation agency.

Indy has been in love with Lee since she was a little girl and he held her hand during her mother’s funeral. Lee has had a lifetime of dodging Indy’s advances, because he wasn’t ready for commitment.

Now, he’s ready.

The problem is, Indy is not.

Into this mix, toss a quiet barista with a not-so-lawful side business, a crazy Vietnam Vet, a pothead, a drag queen, family and friends who will not mind their own business, a few stun guns and a bag of diamonds, and mix them all up with some shootings, a high-speed chase and car bombs exploding, and hang on for your first wild Rock Chick ride.

Ok, I have to admit, I’ve heard people rave about Kristen Ashley’s books, but I had yet to read one. So, I finally decided it was time to change that. I started with Rock Chick. I so fell in love with all the characters and the story. Only one book down, but I think I’m now a Kristen Ashley fan. Indy and her antics had me rolling with laughter. She is an absolute riot to read, but I have to feel for Lee, cuz those antics would also be an nightmare to deal with in a relationship. But these two are magic together, and positively perfect for each other. My favorite bit has to be the bar fight when Lee was going after a skip. I still laugh thinking about that one. If you are like me and haven’t tried Ms. Ashley’s books, I suggest you give them a try. And try Rock Chick especially if you like the Stephanie Plum books. Personally, I’m going to immediately going to dive into Rock Chick Rescue now.

AAAANNNNNDDDD I get it!!! I FLOVED THIS BOOK!!! I became a fan of this authour with several of her other series, building up to the one that everyone knows and loves, Rock Chick. It was finally time and there was only good, no bad, only awesome, no let-down, only perfection, no flaws, in the characters, in the story, in the premise. Lots of smiles, a few tears, and dialogue and action that kept me hopping <3

This book is amazing and If I can find me somone like Lee I would be one happy women. This book has everything is has suspense, hot sexy guys, it has just enough tenderness and love. I have read it twice now. Lee and Indy are amazing together, plus its set inside my home state so it makes it that much more appealing. Cant go wrong with this book.

About the author

Kristen Ashley grew up in Indiana, but has lived in Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least), but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
