Then she finds herself falling in love with this primitive land, its people and especially their savage leader.

Ratings and reviews

Though I wasn't initially happy with the "Sabine kidnapping" theme of this book, I am happy to have gone through with it because it was a brilliant read. You can see the characters growing and they grow on you in the end. You'll be loving Circe's fiery personality and Lahn's calm persistence. I don't condone the main theme but, seriously, people love Fifty Shades of Grey and this is sooo much better and more rewarding.

I am a broken, emotional mess after finishing this book! Not only did Cersei and Lan put me through the wringer as they broke and put themselves back together, Cersei’s dad was just the best, and the most. I loved how this story developed, the growth for both characters, the secret times together, the tender times together, the wild and the wrath. The bonds that were formed with the horde, with the ladies, with the attendants, it all had to be forged, there was nothing to build upon before Cersei’s arrival. There were parts that were painful to go through, there were parts that were steamy, there were parts that were cute, all the things that make up a good life. Cersei and Lan had a lot to cover to be together and they did it with the grace, brute force, and tenderness that defines them both <3

Loved every part of this book ❤️ And im actually reading it again right now😆 I have read hundreds of books over the years and this is my first ever review on any of them. Never found a book i liked enough to spend time writing a review but The Golden Dynasty changed that. If you love romance a tall,gorgeous alpha male. A beautiful girl stuck in a world she ends up making her own and through in some magic. This is a book for you Cant even describe how much i loved it. Kirsten Ashley has put every thing you need in a romance book and it was magnificent 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

About the author

 Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. 

And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.
