Belonging with her Best Friend is heartwarming, precious, adorable, swoon-worthy, and endearing story! This book should absolutely be adapted into the cutest movie of all time! Shelby, the main character, has a precious and sweet quality to her personality that reverberates and resonates through the entire story and book overall. Her sacrificial and loving spirit is wonderful to experience... and so is her best friend and secret crush: Eric. Eric is swoon-worthy in every sense of the word-- mostly for his dedication, commitment, and genuine care for Shelby throughout the story. Their relationship has a pure quality and makes you want to lean in and read every single world. This book absolutely touched me while making me laugh, too! I highly, highly endorse and recommend this book to anyone who loves a romantic comedy!

Kristin outdid herself again! This book was so good! I laughed, I cried, and I swooned. I love Eric and Shelby's relationship! I loved seeing their history and how they worked through their pasts together. The school musical is a fun addition to the story. Eric volunteering to help Shelby practice the kiss was my favorite part. The kiss is perfect! I also loved that when things got rocky, they had talked it through. Kristin does an amazing job mixing love, humor, and heavier topics.

Sometimes I love to read a rom-com as a break from life. This one was a great break! I loved escaping to San Diego. And to Shelby’s problems, instead of my own.
