Seasons of Love by Kristine Raymond is an emotionally charged story of following the lives of several diverse characters and their adventures and encounters. Each one of these characters belongs to a season and each one of them goes through misadventures and lucky moments to find their true love. Author Kristine Raymond writes in an engaging manner that focuses on clearly describing tension filled scenes that elevate the melodrama. While this collection focuses on the romantic aspects, there is still some thrilling moments scattered throughout. I enjoyed how the stories put the characters in various situations that anyone can find themselves in, and in this way I was able to relate to the story and the characters because of how grounded the stories are, at least in the beginning. Looking at the cover of the book, I thought the book was going to be a collection of cozy romance stories. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kristine Raymond provides a unique blend of romance and suspense which makes these stories feel fast and engaging. While these are separate short stories, they are still connected by the characters showing up in each others stories, giving this something of an intriguing soap opera feel. Seasons of Love is filled with passionate love stories that will catch every romance reader’s heart. I recommend this seductive collection of stories to people who are looking for a quick read, as these are short and impassioned stories that can easily be read apart, but the drama is always front and center ensuring that each story is entertaining.

Romance is alive and well, every season of the year! Sigh! This tetralogy, although having four short stories, is complete in it's entirety and each also individually. We meet four different couples, during four seasons of a year, in four different locations. Each couple has their own trials and tribulations, the way that they fall in love, how they fight for love, etc. This is a wonderful book to grab, when you are looking for something to read while waiting for the doc, or possibly don't have much time to invest in a full length book (I.E. late night, that you need to be up early, but HAVE TO read. ;) ) These are not novella's. They are not couples that you have met in Ms. Raymond's other books, nor are you likely to hear from them again. They are (four) complete short stories, written well, inspirational, easy to read, funny, very romantic, and definitely swoon-worthy!! Recommended to anyone who is looking for a must read, or four.
