About the author
Poet, eseist, critic literar şi traducător, Krzysztof Karasek s-a născut în anul 1937 la Varşovia. După ce a absolvit Institutul de Educaţie Fizică şi Facultatea de Filozofie a Universităţii din Varşovia, a lucrat ca redactor la numeroase reviste literare. A debutat în anul 1970 cu volumul de versuri Ceasul eretelui (Godzina Jastrzębi), înscriindu-se încă de la început în gruparea Noului Val, care a avut un rol esenţial în schimbarea canonului literar al timpului.
