Loved this story of 2 broken people who needed to come to some realizations of what they were and what they could be. Oliver was a hero to a women he rescued on a drug raid/human trafficking gang. Charity was a woman who let here past influence how she lived life. Chemistry is seen from almost the first page but neither recognize it for what it was. Then Ms. Shaw threw a twist in near the end that will knock you off your seat, especially if you have been following the series. I highly recommend this book.

The Love Undercover series gets more intense! Oliver rescued Charity from hell in a prior book, so Charity likens him as her shiny knight in armor. Oliver’s past without his mother shaped him in to the playboy he is today, or that is until Charity gets her hook in. Charity can’t help but be attracted to Oliver, and her self-defense lessons with him get hot and sweaty. But when her life is threatened by her kidnappers, Oliver can no longer keep his attraction to her undercover. You won’t see the plot twist coming for the ending of their story! Wow, just WOW!

POINT BLANK I don't know how LK Shaw does it, but her writing just keeps getting better and better, and POINT BLANK is the proof! Great cop/drug cartel book AND a terrific love story on top of that. Such wonderful (and accurate!) insights on relationships between two battle scarred participants (aren't we all?). The twists and turns are well written and I, for one, didn't see them coming. I don't want to give anything away; suffice to say LK has hit this book right out of the park. I can't wait for what's next!
