Book: Ruined Hopes Author: L.A. Cotton Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars Spice level: 🌶 Heroine: ⭐⭐⭐💫 stars Heros: ⭐⭐⭐💫 stars "It had been real. But it still wasn’t enough.” Now, this installment surprised me so much! My favorite one so far in the series. I loved this story, it made me angry, teary-eyed, and pleased with how it was written and developed by the author. I felt for both main characters, they went through so much and it hurt to see why it took them so long to be together. Again, this one is my favorite so far. I can't wait to read Broken Ties! ARC provided in exchange for was an honest review.

I really want to see Ashleigh's happiness but while I'm reading her story and watching Ezra hurt her again and again, I think I would prefer her choosing Gav over Ezra though. I totally agree with her own words... she deserves so much more. The story is so intense and full of angst with Ashleigh's memory lost and Ezra's feeling. I totally understand Ezra but that doesn't mean I enjoy reading him keep pushing Ashleigh away. The author does her best to tell us what he has experienced and keeps repeating about they are teenagers but I still feel like he can do better because if he opens his heart, he would see how people around him want him to be happy. But even if I dislike Ezra's behavior, I still enjoy and engage in the story so much. I feel heartbreak and cry a little for Ashleigh, for every memories she lost and for her love for Ezra. Ezra is so lucky he found his family and met Ashleigh. This Rixon High series is getting better and better and I can't wait for Poppy and Aaron's story
