this book is really good its a love triangle. Damon and Stefan, to brother fighting over a beautiful girl named Katherine. At first they din't know she is a vampire. Their dad is a vampire hunter.

I love this better than the original vampire diaries book series, maybe because it added a lot of detail and got straight to the point at the same time. If you watched the show it will be even more interesting because you can start from any book 1,2,3and know whats happening (and you already know how they look like). Fan girl warning though, Damon is so adorable and almost innocent in the beginning of this series.. Stefan is the more "corrupt" one. (Eventually you will see them become their normal selves.)

If your a fan of the show, you will love this book cause it follows the show but has sooo much more so it will be new and interesting, and even if you dont watch the show and just love some vamps, its still a great read
