Lili Valente has proven herself as a writer of erotic fiction, and, although she has focused on romantic comedy of late (which I love, by the way), she has returned to her roots quite nicely in SNOWED IN WITH THE BOSS. Dissatisfied with her love life, Jane is looking to make things a little less vanilla. She is both surprised and excited to receive a note from her boss, Ten, letting her know that he's on to her, and containing instructions for how Jane's lessons with him will be playing out. Yes, you read that right, Jane's lessons with Ten. Because, beneath his friendly, professional exterior, Ten is a Dom, and he's not about to let one of his favorite people explore the road less traveled with anyone else. Hot? Oh, my gosh, yes. Sweet? That, too, because, not only does Ten not want Jane to endanger herself, he's got feelings for her that are rushing up to hit him head-on. I thoroughly enjoyed this nugget of kink, and truly loved both Jane and Ten. They are the perfect match, yin to yang, and their relationship just works. And, while this is definitely not your average holiday book, there are all sorts of gifts throughout, which made for an unexpectedly heartwarming read. 5 sweet, smutty, snow-filled stars for Lili's latest venture. My suggestion? Grab a cup of holiday cheer, spiked of course, and settle in and enjoy.

Snowed in With the Boss by Lili Valente is a steaming hot read set in the middle of a blizzard in New York. A read that was hot enough to melt the ice outside if Ten and Jane really wanted to try. So all weather related puns aside, this was a super quick read that introduced us to Ten and Jane. Jane is Tens executive assistant and they have worked closely together for the past four years - when we enter their storyline a blizzard has hit NY and the power is off in their building. They settle in for the night, forage for food in the breakroom and blankets and thanks to one conspicuous email that Jane sent using the work server a new kind of relationship is about to form between these two. If you are not a fan of short reads and insta-love type books then steer clear - If, however, you cannot get enough of naught subs and perfectly alpha doms then I HIGHLY recommend this read.

Snowed in With the Boss is a panty-melting story of a shared love of steamy hot and erotic passion and their mutual love for the Dom/Sub connection that finally brings Ten and Jane together. This novella will leave you fanning yourself and in need of ice water. I couldn't put my iPad down and quickly finished in only a few of hours.
