About this eBook

Mackenzie Allen Philips’s youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend.

Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack’s world forever. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant The Shack wrestles with the timeless question: Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain? The answers Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him. You’ll want everyone you know to read this book!

I have read so many kind of books and sooner or later i forgot about it but "The Shack" is another story. Like the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by its cover", well i sort of underestimate this one. When i started to read the book (The Shack), i was so excited and thankful that i did not just put it aside and not bother reading it. I was really touched by the story and i was encouraged. I learned many things in the book. I was so thrilled i can't help but boast about it and can't wait to share with my family and friends. By the way, i got the book from a prisoner who i used to have fellowship visit with every Sunday. He gave me right there in prison and told me to read because its a "good story" though he didn't define how "super good" the story is. I didn't take his word for it, not until i finally start reading. I have him to thank for sharing the book hopefully next time i see him. It was the best and amazing book i have ever read in my entire life:-)

My husband was murdered in 2008. I started reading this book two years post occurrence. It was difficult getting through the first few chapters. Thereafter many rewards came. I was able to find peace, forgive and attempt to live again. My heart, soul and existence...Praises to God. I recommend this book to those who choose to be restored. O:-)

Definitely 1 of the best books I have ever read. It changed my view of God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, people & myself. Wonderfully written & although it is fictional it was very real to me and I could feel the presence of the Lord throughout the pages & it was if HE (God) was speaking directly to me! A MUST read!
