Raumplanung, Note: keine, Universität Potsdam (Institut für Geographie), Veranstaltung: Raumanalytisches Praktikum, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Allgemeines In der Landwirtschaft tätige Beschäftigte und ihre Familien machen derzeit gut 3 Prozent der deutschen Bevölkerung aus. 1999 lebten und arbeiteten 1,44 Millionen Menschen auf deutschen Höfen. Der enorme Rückgang an landwirschaftlichen Arbeitskräften im frühen Bundesgebiet während der letzten 50 Jahre vollzog sich in den neuen Bundesländern innerhalb weniger Jahre. Im September 1989 waren dort und 850.000 Personen beschäftigt. Mitte 1998 hatte sich ihre Zahl auf nur noch rund 169.000 Personen reduziert.
