Wow! This was an outstanding debut novel that left me breathless. I loved how complex and unpredictable it was. There were multiple layers to the plot with many secrets, threats and dangers. However added to this was great humour plus witty descriptions and dialogue. You could totally feel the tension between them Jasmine and Chase. I enjoyed the push and pull and was rooting for them all the way. I look forward to seeing what this talented author comes up with next. Honest review from a non-reader:Honestly just read this book! Hi! I don't read (often)... I usually get recommended books and while they start okay, I tend to drift away from a book and never look back...that being said this book had my husband asking "what have you done with my wife" as he found me reading when I woke up, before bed, while I was supposed to be getting ready to go out, etc...I would never have suspected this was written by a first-time author! I could go on about how the verbal imagery was CHEF'S KISS! Or how my first 5 adjectives to describe this book would be: STEAMY, WITTY, ADDICTIVE, SMART, and EXCELLENT STORY! Or even how the female lead is STRONG, CLEVER, and SELF-AWARE! Don't even get me started on how the chemistry between our leading lady and man (Chase) was TOO HOT TO HANDLE - both INTELLIGENT and SEXY! The bottom line is I'm not a reader - so don't take my word for it - read it for yourself and see if it makes a reading convert out of you as it did me

One of the best books I have ever read! I couldn't put it down. Finished it at 4:00 in the morning.
