Lance Mayfair sought out Hathaway House at the recommendation of a friend, who told him it was an answer to his prayer. This is the twelfth book in the amazing Hathaway House series and instead of running out of steam they just get better, this is such a beautiful story that by the end I was an emotional wreck. "Get here, it will make all the difference" was the message from his friend and ex Seal colleague Iain. Lance Mayfair had sustained life altering injuries on a mission whilst serving as a US Navy SEAL, he had almost accepted his lot as wheelchair bound when he got the message from Iain, Iain was recovering in Hathaway House, a rehabilitation centre for seriously injured military personnel, it had fantastic reviews for treating patients holistically but would it work for Lance? Jessica Marlow was to be Lance's nurse, finding out about Lance's love of music Jessica was determined to help him attain his dream, going out of her way to provide opportunities. A gentle romance blossomed between Jessica and Lance as he fights his way back to regain his life. I love the characters that run through this series of books like old friends, I love the individual, holistic way that all the patients are treated, I love the fact that Dale Mayer has obviously researched the psychological as well as the physical aspects of seriously injured military personnel and I loved the fact that I could almost hear Lances music whilst reading his story, I cant wait for the next one, A well deserved five stars I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely loved reading Lance . This is book twelve of the Hathaway House series . Lance Mayfair heads to Hathaway House Rehab Center for better rehab and healing . He is hoping to get healthy and happy . Jessica is a nurse at Hathaway House and immediately connects with Lance she wants to help him when she learns he use to play music and misses it . The more time they spend together the closer they become and Jessica helps Lance reach some of his goals and the staff at Hathaway House help with other goals . This story is a beautiful inspirational romance. It is heartwarming, truly an outstanding story with wonderful characters . I highly recommend taking the time to read . The author described this book as a "Heartwarming Romance" and I could not think of better words to use. Lance has arrived at Hathaway House to further his rehab after hearing so many good things from his buddies. He was injured as a Navy Seal and now has to reset his goals and heal further to reach them. With his injuries, following his other dream has been jeopardized but music comes so naturally to him that he is really set on making this dream come true. His next dream comes naturally too but you have to read the book to hear about that. Reading this series resets my brain in a good way even though they tug at my heart. I really enjoyed Lance and Jessica's story. Another great "Heartwarming Romance" in a equally great series. The epilogue talks about Dani's friend Melissa who has also been injured in the military. I'm anxious to read this as well!
