About this ebook

Aric Prince is an All-American high school football star with a body built like a Greek god and hair so beautiful he could sell shampoo by the boatloads.

The only problem is that Aric’s also a rich, arrogant, and gigantic prick. Nothing but filth and insults come out of his smirking mouth, constantly reminding me that poor, trailer park trash girls like myself don’t belong in his pretentious academy.

Aric and his best friends all think they’re untouchable.

But the cocky bastard is finally going down this year.

I’ve hit the motherload of blackmail on the jerk, pun intended, and I can’t wait to give him exactly what he deserves.

Aric Prince’s reign at the academy is coming to an end.

Before I’m done with him, he’ll be on his knees, begging for mercy.

WHILE BEG FOR MERCY IS A HIGH SCHOOL BULLY ROMANCE, IT CONTAINS DARK THEMES, EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT, AND GRAPHIC LANGUAGE THAT IS INTENDED FOR MATURE READERS.

This book was over-the-top and just too silly to finish reading. Right off the bat, the main character comes off as a total pick-me girl. I couldn't feel any sympathy for her when she was just as snobby as the spoiled rich kids we're supposed to be rooting against. The author's descriptions of the characters' physical features felt awkward. "Cinnamon-colored hair", "a chocolate sprinkling of a five o'clock shadow"... was someone hungry when they wrote this? The author's writing felt amateurish, but I was willing to put up with it if the story improved. However, it just got more and more awkward and sleazy. Not a book I would recommend wasting your time on. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The story of Aric and Maddie is a bit of a rollercoaster, and in terms of being a bully romance, there isn't that much intense bullying. It was well-written and the story flowed well. So, if you like the genre but can't handle an intense, dark story, then this is the book for you! I'd recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book a lot and I look forward to reading the rest of the series with Blake and Royal. This is meant to be a bully romance, but I don't think Aric was a bully at all, maybe just a bit obnoxious and full of himself at the start. I really liked Maddie, she was a strong character who stood up for herself. Highly recommended. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
