Cain's story was great. Why he became who he was and this great love connection with Gabriella where he just wouldn't let go eventhough the odds were against them. It was full of push and pulle emotion. Some really vulgar situations but somehow things just worked out for those two who were there for eachother from teens till young adults.. Good read

But what I got... Whew! From the first page, I fell in love with Gabby and Cain. Even as a child, Cain was an alpha bent on protecting the women he loves. Gabby was innocent, but not weakened by it. The story was as riveting as it was heartbreaking. I loved every minute. With some free books, you get what you pay for. With this book, it almost feels like you stole something.

Love the story! The characters have been dealt with painful and difficult lives but there's an innocence to them that wasn't touched by their past. Definitely a great read that will make you laugh and hope for the better.
