How do we make sense of our experience? In order to understand how we construct meaning, the varied and complex relationships among language, mind, and culture need to be understood. Zoltán Kövecses is Professor of Linguistics in the Department of American Studies at Eötvös Lora'and University, Budapest. He is the author of Metaphor: A Practical Introduction (OUP, 2002).
