I love the maturity of it all. No unnecessary miscommunications and Menace and Karina are a charming couple. Their dynamic and relationship felt very natural and the pacing and development was just chef's kiss. This is a great book

Menace was a great 5 star read. Karina and Mason find each other on a dating app and decide to meet. They hit it off so well that they had quite the steamy encounter in Mason’s jeep. After their date Karina cancels her app account and Mason can’t seem to find her. There is something about the way Mason made Karina feel that scared her. She’s not sure if she’s ready for something serious. Of course fate steps in and when the father of a student comes in for a presentation she finds herself face-to-face with Mason and she can no longer deny her attraction. Mason and Karina start to date and they hit it off great. She loves Caleb, Mason’s son and they connect in so many ways. I’ve disappointed so many in my life that her words make me feel like I’ve finally done something right. The moonshine is also still being investigated. High school students are continuing to get it but they can’t seem to find out who is distributing it. Will they finally solve the mystery? It was great seeing all of the secondary characters from the earlier books, such a great group of friends. There is a big scare that gave me a near heart attack. Things come together very nicely for Karina and Mason and I was extremely happy with the ending. Laramie Briscoe has once again pulled me right in with her writing. I can’t wait to read Caleb’s Book next, so excited. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Strictly a true description of the philosophy of when one door closes scenario. But with a sexy twist. He thought he was to old and that he missed out on love but he had a great reason, Being the best dad to his son . He was and is a success in that hands down area, he forgot that even great dads are men with needs too. In walks our heroine and she remunds him of the fact that yes he's still a man, and it is really alright to have a life even after children. And to enjoy yourself.
