Knowing the outcome of this story before beginning to read it did not diminish the enjoyment of it. I'm not a football fanatic. But I am a huge fan of Peyton Manning as a man. Now I am a huge fan of the whole family! I laughed. I cried. I was surprised. Most of all, I am glad I read it and highly recommend it!

Lars Anderson is the New York Times bestselling author of six books, including The Storm and the Tide, Carlisle vs. Army, and The All Americans. A twenty-year veteran of Sports Illustrated, Anderson is a senior writer at Bleacher Report and an instructor of journalism at the University of Alabama. He lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife, April, and their son, Lincoln.
