Douglas Adams was born in 1952 and educated at Cambridge. He was the author of five books in the Hitchhikerโs Trilogy, includingย The Hitchhikerโs Guide to the Galaxy; The Restaurant at the End of the Universe; Life, the Universe and Everything; So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish;ย andย Mostly Harmless.ย His other works includeย Dirk Gentlyโs Holistic Detective Agency;ย The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul;ย The Meaning of Liffย andย The Deeper Meaning of Liffย (with John Lloyd); andย Last Chance to Seeย (with Mark Carwardine).
