Loved this story that's about Kua/Kuaket an Egyptian goddess/snake shifter and Abrax a warlock for the characters were wonderful, and the storyline drew me in with all the drama. Abrax and Kua are lovers with benefits. Abrax is a member of the Sons of Seth a cult and was enticed into the group by promising magical powers. Abrax was chosen by the cult to kidnap a God or Goddess and deliver them to his cult. Abrax discovers how the Sons of Seth get their powers he wants out. Can he save Kua?

Abrax is in the Sons of Seth accult. He wants out. He meets Kuaket , Kua, at the speed dating event held at DeLux. They have a nine month relationship that not a relationship because Kua doesn't do relationships. As much in denile that Kua is in, she deep down feels something. She volunteers to go into the headquarters of Sons of Seth to help set Abrax free. Kuaket is like a free spirit that doesn't let nothing bring her down, she's brave and will go into a hornet's net to save those she cares

The goddess Kuaket likes to attend the Speed Dating event at DeLux Cafe. It offers her several options for entertainment. Kua's belief starts to shift after meeting Abrax, and nine months later, she finds herself still with him. This story has plenty of excitement as well as romance and a bit of steam, ending in a HEA. Very highly recommended. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
