About this ebook

Can searching an abandoned library bring romance for an ink mage and a pigeon shifter?

Ink mage Lincoln has always loved books, but there hasn't been much use of them since the apocalypse came.

Scout and shifter Penny loves finding treasures on her missions outside the oasis, particularly when she can take them back to her home base and give them to the mage who has quickly become her friend.

When they uncover a lost library, they finally have a chance to spend some time together, and explore the connection that's been building, along with the trove of books just waiting to be uncovered.

Mage's Library is part of the Purple Oasis paranormal romance series. It includes a sweet m/f romance involving a pigeon shifter in search of home, and an ink mage looking for knowledge.

This was a wonderfully creative book and it completely entranced me in the world of Purple Oasis. Lincoln and Penny, the main characters, happen to 'work' out of the same structure. Lincoln, an ink mage, was restoring old and weathered tombs for the rest of the residents. Penny was a scout and a pigeon shifter. She was training her birds to return messages to the compound (useful while on scouting trips). There was a friendship formed between them as time grew. (Perhaps even something more than a friendship.) When a library was discovered on a trip, Penny recommended bringing Lincoln along to determine which books to salvage, thinking he would enjoy the adventure AND be highly useful as well. Would Lincoln get to go on the recovery mission? Would the mission be a success? Would Lincoln and Penny step beyond friendship? Find out for yourself in Mage's Library. I received a gift copy of this book and volunteered my review. I hope you enjoy this amazing book as much as I did.

Our hero loves books, but can't find his place in the world while our heroine is always seeking forgotten treasures. Perhaps together they can both find what they are looking for. This book is part of a series, but it is written as a standalone. No issues there. This is a paranormal romance with a post-apocalypse setting. As I expect from these authors, the story is well written and easy to read. The setting is well done, if a bit grim (see post-apocalypse). The characters are also well d

Lincoln & Penny A ink mage & a pigeon shifter find themselves with the love of books. He loves to restore them & she loves reading. They're at the oasis trying to get on with life. They find themselves coming together after an abandoned library run. Their love blossoms on from there. It's a very cute & loving story. I found it a very heart-warming story to enjoy on a cold night.... I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
