Sage has a date with her mother for her nineteenth birthday but it gets canceled and she is feeling sad. Castor decides to throw her a birthday party and gets her best friend Rhea to help him. I enjoyed Rhea’s character, she is funny. Sage and Castor like each other but are to shy to say anything, it was cute to see them interact with each other. I enjoyed reading their story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read enjoyed all the books I've read in this series so far. This book was about Sage, a witch, and Castor, a minotaur. They were flatmates that liked each other bit neither had the courage to tell the other. On Sage's birthday, after being canceled on by her mother, gets a party thrown for her, by none other than Castor. Fun short read but I wished for a little bit more of an issue to happen or more drama. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A birthday to remember. Sage thought this year would be different and her mother would actually show up for her birthday. Instead, Sage was going to send her birthday alone. Her roommate, Castor, listens to her heartbreak and decides to do something about it. He likes the pretty witch even if he is too shy to say anything. If he can’t say it in words, maybe he can say it in deeds. This is a short, sweet romance. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
