Essie & Byron have been in a relationship before. Now that they have been put into a group situation for college & they are being suspicious. They don't want to be single anymore. What will happen? I found that this couple really do love each other & were refusing to make it right. Small things make Essie's heart flutter and Byron's heart does the same when he is near her. In the end, they decide to make fate end up the right way of their relationship. Thank you Booksprout & Laura!

Essie shouldn't be at Obscure Academy; even broke up with Brandon to keep it a secret. She wishes she hadn't but isn't sure how to make it right. How would that conversation go unless she tells him the truth? Brandon's special but can he keep her secret? Young love! A wonderful time of life - a terrible time of life. Essie’s friends supported her even if they didn’t agree with her decisions. You can’t ask for more than that. A good book for a day at the beach or a rainy afternoon. A fun series.

I truly enjoyed how Essie and Byron got back together and worked through her secret together. I thought it was so cute she knew they were meeting to start the group project and she automatically ordered his coffee for him, even though they were not together. Essie thought she was doing what was best to keep her secret, but found out she could get what she wanted and keep her secret as she and Byron spent more time together.
