A very nice, clean story with enough tension to keep you going. The characters are believable but not as fleshed out as one would like in great literature. Their motives are clear, the plot is developed adequately. A nice happy story with a satisfying end.

A young autistic girl and her father unexpectedly find themselves staying on in Crystal Lake after a drunken driver crashes into their vehicle shortly before 4th July celebrations. Much to the surprise of her father, Lexi responds to the ER nurse who offers them the use of her adjoining townhouse until their vehicle can be replaced, as all accommodation is booked for the holidays. As the days go by they all learn that God can heal hearts as well as bodies and that running away might not be the answer.

A wonderfully gentle, peaceful, and heartfeltly motivational tale about overcoming obstacles to acquire love and trust while showing the greatest respect, appreciation, and wisdom!
