The relationship between Holden and Reese is one of second chances but their timing was off two years earlier. Neither one stepped into another relationship in their two years apart, and reconnecting was easy as their feelings for one another grew during their time apart. Reese has remained a virgin, and Holden is the man with whom she will fall in love. 5 Star review The Virgin Game Plan (Rules of Love #2) by Lauren Blakely The second book in the Rules of Love series and it was just as entertaining and engaging as the first book. This is a forbidden sport romance story about Holden and Reese who met a few years ago and spent a passionate night together. Fast forward to the present and Holden is shocked to discover that the woman who he has thought about is in fact his coach's daughter and therefore totally off limits. As with previous books by Lauren Blakely there was plenty of heat and a great deal of humour. The camaraderie and friendship that Holden has with his teammates was entertaining. When I first read the blurb for this one I knew that this was going to be a fun, entertaining story and it was exactly what I got. Both the main characters of Holden and Reese were likeable, engaging and easy to relate too along with a cast of secondary characters who were also fun and interesting. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Reese was interviewing Holden, and from the moment they met, it was obvious these two were meant for each other. Holden is a sexy, strong and determined guy and a rising star of Major league baseball. He knows what he wants, but with Reese, it’s not that simple. Especially when they just had one night, and barely that. Life throws a curveball at them, splitting them into what-if?? Now they are back in the same town and have a real chance to be together. It’s not going to be easy, but it will be fun, sensual and the most fabulous time of their lives. I absolutely loved this book. It was just the antidote I needed for a stressful week and I devoured it in one sitting. Holden was a perfect hero and Reese a sassy woman who lived life to the full. I loved watching their relationship blossom. Grab this wonderful story today.
