This is probably a tie for one of my favorites of the series. Cade meets his match in Grace, who also happens to be his enemy’s sister. There’s a weird “spat” between Nina & Grace, but thankfully that was over quickly and more of the story is spent on tying up the Pallini/Mafia storyline. Jack serves as anchor for Grace and I started re-reading this whole series so I could listen to Trinity which is *his* story. Somewhat simplistic, but this was a nice & exciting wrap up to the series story arc. There’s another novella (Bonded Pair, Megan’s story) that takes place after all this. I wish I’d just stopped with this one and jumped to Trinity.
